OUT OF ADVERSITY ALSO COMES OPPORTUNITY
Why is this such an incredible time to buy new yacht or sell your current one?
IT'S A BUYERS MARKET, SO BUY
IF YOU OWN A BOAT, SELL IT NOW AND BUY A BIGGER ONE
NOW IS THE TIME
Although the powerboat business is dismal, our sailboat business is brisk. Brokerage boats are selling provided that they are priced right, in good condition and accessble. The first six months of 2008 we sold more boats than any other time in our 30 years in business. Recent months has been a different picture. As most buyers wait for the economy to recover, some buyers that have the liquidity, desire a courage are finding once in a lifetime bargins. From great crisis aslo comes great opportities. This is the strongest buyer market I've ever seen in my three decades in the boat business.
I have received several new boats that were repossessed from failed dealerships. I've also had opportunities where a client or dealer canceled an order on a completed boat and then the builder gives us a huge discount to help sell that boat quickly. These opportunities sell quickly, so if you'd like to be informed about them when they occur, I urge you to contact me and discuss your thoughts with me. Both Catalina and Hunter have aggressive incentive programs that you may want to consider. You will find links on the top buttons of this website for special pricing as well as estimated monthly payments on Hunters and Catalinas
You will be pleased to know that marine financing has not been effected by the home mortgage fiasco and money is readily available. You can find very low interest rates on a 20 year term with as little as 10% down! Many of my clients discovered they had more buying power than they realized. You may find the same is true for you. If you'd like to find out what type of financing is available for you, click on and fill out this CREDIT APPLICATIONthen fax it back to Grant Smalling. Grant has years specializing in marine lending and is highly qualified to process your application quickly and confidentially to find you the best terms and interest rates.
Lastly, what has increase sales is foreign buyers. Massey Yacht Sales and Service sells more sailboats between 35 and 55 feet than any brokerage in Florida. We have never experienced so many Europeans and Canadians taking advantage of the exchange rate. What this means to you is that if you have a boat to sell, now is the time to do it. My inventory of brokerage yachts is disappearing quickly. I need listings, so if you or you know someone considering selling their boat, please call me to discuss are successful brokerage program.
As you may have already experienced, buying a boat can be a frustrating and confusing process. What is a good boat and what isn't? What's a good price and what isn't? Do you buy new or used?
As a former executive of several large sailboat manufactures, extensive experience as a broker and an avid sailor, you may find my insight helpful in your selection process. Over the years I've helped many clients make the right choice. I'd like to have the opportunity to do the same with you.
Since we are the dealer located closest to the Hunter and Catalina factories, I invite you to take a personal tour of each manufacture with me. By visiting the factories you will gain incredible insight and appreciation for the quality construction that goes into each Hunter or Catalina. On the production line you will to see each model in various stages of construction, from a bare hull and deck, to a completed yacht ready to ship. I'm certain you will find it fascinating to compare the different production techniques used by these two builders. This education will be invaluable in helping you make an informed purchase decision.
Massey Yacht Sales and Service has been a new boat dealer for nearly thirty years and is one of the largest sailboat brokerages in the US. We are also one of the top five Hunter and Catalina dealers in the world. Massey Yacht Sales & Service and I have much to offer in the way of yachts, information, experience, service and yacht financing. If you are looking for a new or brokerage sailboat between 35 and 55 feet, please consider working with us. If you currently own a boat, I am actively seeking a few quality boats over 35' to represent and replenish the inventory recently sold.
Would you be so kind as to call or email your current status and update some essential information such as what size, price range and timing is ideal for you. Do you currently own a boat you'd like to sell or trade?
